Lenovo company has a huge history in the industry of smart devices such as Laptops, Tablets, supercomputers, and phones. The company is considered a multinational company and its headquartered in China, especially in Hong Kong. Lenovo company was established in 1984 by Liu Chuanzhi. The CEO of the company is Yang Yuanqing. Lenovo’s rank is 159 in the world on the fortune global 500 lists. The company ranks fifth out of 10 global companies in the broad computing industry category. This company distributes its product around the world, it has 180 markets to share its products on it. Also, it has gone through four transitional phases since its inception. The first stage started in 1994 and ended in 2004. This stage was marked by the fact that the company became the number one brand in China and dominated the market by 30%. The second phase began in 2004 and ended in 2014. During this period, the company became the number one company in the world, and during this period it also acquired IBM PC. The third phase started in 2014 and ended in 2018, during which time it acquired IBM System x and Motorola turned into a multi-business model. The fourth phase started in 2019, and during this period the company used the 3S strategy in order to be able to keep pace with the new generations.
